Course Overview

The course is designed to provide participants with baseline skills in strategic analysis which can be applied to their everyday work. The skills will enable participants to translate key issues at sector, national and regional levels into policy considerations for decision-makers.The course will assist participants to understand the ongoing problems of analysis, the complexity of strategic developments, effectively deal with incomplete and ambiguous information, and help to reflect on the way they understand information. The course emphasises that strategic analysis is strengthened when one can include multiple perspectives on a problem or challenge using group analytic exercises.
