Welcome to our first newsletter for 2021.

2020 was a difficult year across the Pacific. The security outlook remains uncertain with the unfolding COVID, cyclone and climate change situation, as well as the escalating economic impacts regionally and globally. New hurdles for 2021 include the complexity of the vaccine roll-out, upcoming elections and political challenges, and growing pressures associated with NCDs, transnational crime and resource depletion.
