Jamie Tarawa
Jamie Tarawa is the UNDP Climate Security Advisor to the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, seconded via the UN Climate Security Mechanism.
He has worked on environmental security across the Asia-Pacific through INTERPOL’s Environmental Security Programme, and across intelligence, law enforcement and specialised environmental agencies within the New Zealand Government.
Jamie holds a Master’s degree in International Security from Massey University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Human Geography from Victoria University of Wellington.
