Milika Naqasima Sobey

Milika Naqasima Sobey works part-time as a Senior Technical Adviser for GIZ Pacific in Fiji.

Dr Sobey is a marine scientist by training and has worked in academia, regional and international NGOs. She has also worked on freshwater systems looking at everything from public health issues to freshwater fisheries and the political economy of the water sector in the Pacific Island countries.

Dr Sobey obtained her BSc and MSc from the University of the South Pacific and her PhD from the University of Essex in the UK.
