Dr Philippa Louey
Research Fellow

Philippa Louey is a Research Fellow at the Pacific Security College. She completed a PhD from the Department of Pacific Affairs, Australian National University in 2025 where her research examines the politics of sustainable ocean development agendas in the Pacific.
She has worked at the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council and prior to commencing doctoral studies, provided research support to the Pacific Network on Globalisation on ocean sustainability and economic development.
Dr Louey coordinates the Pacific Security College’s Pacific Visitorship Program, which fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange between regional researchers, ANU and the Pacific Security College, and convenes the Pacific Security Dialogue Series at ANU.
