Sarah Mansour

Sarah Mansour is an Australian immigration and refugee lawyer, former UNHCR Protection Officer for the Pacific, and the founder and Principal Consultant of Sarah Mansour Consulting (SMC).

With almost 15 years of experience spanning international law, refugee protection, asylum system design, and governance reform, Sarah has worked across a broad range of geographic contexts. Her Pacific experience with UNHCR as Protection Officer, spans coordination of protection across 14 Pacific States. Her global experience extends across the Middle East and North Africa – including Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt; South Asia, including Pakistan; Senegal – including coverage over West and Central Africa operations;  the Americas region – including Costa Rica and Panama with coverage of parts of the Caribbean, Central and South America; and Australia, together with offshore processing centres in Nauru and Manus Island, Papua New Guinea.

Sarah holds a Master of Laws in International Law with Merit and a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish, both from the Australian National University. She is admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
