Sainimili Tawake

Sainimili Tawake is the CEO of the Pacific Disability Forum.

She is a prominent figure in the realm of human rights and disability advocacy, with more than 30 years of dedicated experience in disability equity and rights. Her career has been marked by a steadfast commitment to promoting the rights and inclusion of individuals with disabilities in Fiji and across the Pacific region.

As the CEO of the Pacific Disability Forum, she leads initiatives aimed at empowering women and persons with disabilities and ensuring their voices are heard in policymaking processes. She endeavours to promote and strengthen genuine partnerships and strengthen the capacity of persons with disabilities and their organisations.

Ms Tawake’s work encompasses various critical areas, including disability equity and rights, gender equality, and social inclusion.
